Citation Appeals

Persons receiving a parking citation that they believe was issued in error should complete a Parking Citation Appeal Form within 15 calendar days of the citation issuance date and submit it to Campus Services HQ. Appeal forms are available at Campus Services HQ (162 Calhoun St.) and at Public Safety. If you would like to have an appeal form mailed to you, please contact Campus Services HQ at 843.953.1100 or Students, faculty and staff members may file an appeal online via MyPortal by clicking on the Parking tile.

The Parking Adjudication Board will review all appeals and make a decision to uphold the citation, reduce the fine or dismiss the citation. Persons submitting an appeal form will receive written notice of the board's decision. All fines must be paid within 10 calendar days of the board's decision. The board's decision constitutes the final decision on the matter and there is no option for a second appeal.

The Parking Adjudication Board is made up of three individuals who represent our faculty, our staff and our student body, and are not employees of Campus Services HQ or Public Safety.
